I have MikroTik LHG LTE18 kit LHGGM&EG18-EA. Time to time MikroTik lose internet. After login to RouterOS I see operator name and good signal. Restart from Winbox don’t do anything. Restart by switch off and switch on, too.
There is only one solution to reset to factory settings. I did it this way few times and it always works. I don’t have any special settings - MikroTik is pluged as WAN to TP Link router. Only reset bring back internet access. After reset I did’t do anything and all works fine.
How can I fix it?
Today when I lost internet access I login to RouterOS. I restarted MikroTik and nothing changed. I update to 7.13 Stable and restart again and nothing changed. I restore to factory settings and internet work… but when I tried to login to MikroTik I got message about wrong password. I tried admin/<blank> as always, admin/admin, admin/<previous password> and can’t log in. Internet works now but I can’t log in to make a reset in the future. MikroTik is in the roof and I don’t have access to device.
