Ongoing experimentation reveals that my older cheap Android Far East tablet can get 100Mbps on Wi-Fi 4 sat about 3m from the router with a partial 1' wide stone wall in the way. I've never seen a Wi-Fi 4 connection ever run this fast... 80Mbps maybe on a good day.
Is this the work of the devil or does Wi-Fi 7/AX inherently improve speeds of older clients?
