Hi all,
I was investigating a behavior in my switches and I found this viewtopic.php?p=795662&hilit=sfp+link+speed#p795662 #3 post which seems to describe what I am seeing. However, I wanted to post here for further clarification and see if there is deeper information in SwOS.
I have a CRS310 (2.5Gb port) connected to a CSS310 (multi-G SFP+). The CRS shows link speed 2.5G. The CSS310 SFP+ port shows 10G.
Similar thing where I have a 1G port on CSS310 connected to a multi-G SFP+) on a different CSS310 and the SFP+ link still shows 10G, when it clearly is not possible.
Mikotik, is it not possible to derive what speeds the port has negotiated on SFP+? I am trying to get links to come up at the fastest possible speed but with this reporting I might never really know.

thanks!

is it possible to see the DDC link info in SwOS in any way?Speed between SFP module and its link peer can be different and one has to get information about that via DDC link ...
thanks!
