You miss something: 16core/socket is the minimum amount you need to buy - even if you dont have such CPU-core capacity:Btw, here is the new Broadcom VMware licensing model for those unlucky ones who lack the original perpetual licenses. "Foundation" is needed to enable SR-IOV, DirektPath (PCI Passthroug) etc. A one-year subscription is about 40% more expensive.
