What a PITA. Why can't there just be a config file you export and import into a new device?
I've used Netgate, OPNSense and TrueNAS, they all operate like this. This is the first time I've run into a router in which you can export the config and import the old config, particularly via the GUI, a simple concept used to move from a old router to a new router that is not in the GUI that deters people from using this product and upgrading to a new one.
I will work on getting this done but I don't want to work on another MikroTik again.
It looks like even the VPN and certificates have to be setup again or at least exported, imported and tested.
A Netgate config would pull all that over via the config file.
End of frustrated rant
