So, as you can see, I've been remiss in upgrading my home router. In fact, after initial installation 2 years ago, when I guess I upgraded RouterOS to 6.49.3, I've done nothing else.
Code:
[admin@MikroTik] /system> routerboard print routerboard: yes board-name: hEX model: RB750Gr3 revision: r4 serial-number: D5030F1290A5 firmware-type: mt7621L factory-firmware: 6.47.10 current-firmware: 6.47.10 upgrade-firmware: 6.49.3[admin@MikroTik] /system> package printFlags: X - disabled # NAME VERSION SCHEDULED 0 ntp 6.49.3 1 routeros-mmips 6.49.3 2 system 6.49.3 3 X ipv6 6.49.3 4 wireless 6.49.3 5 hotspot 6.49.3 6 mpls 6.49.3 7 routing 6.49.3 8 ppp 6.49.3 9 dhcp 6.49.3 10 security 6.49.3 11 advanced-tools 6.49.3 [admin@MikroTik] /system> package update check-for-updates channel: long-term installed-version: 6.49.3 latest-version: 6.49.10 status: New version is available
My config is fairly straightforward. I use vtags on most of my interfaces, but other than that it's pretty basic.

In what order should I bring everything (i.e., firmware and routeros and packages) up to date? And, does it matter whether I use WebFig or an ssh session? (I've never used WinBox, and would rather not have to now, if possible.)

Many thanks in advance,
paul
