Even so, it would not be the same UI anymore.It "just" needs rewrite to use some cross-platform GUI library like Qt or GTK.
What I love about WinBox is the no bullshit approach to the UI. No stupid margins (ie wasted space), no useless kindergarten icons and colors everywhere, no stupid material design (or whatever the hell is google and apple push for these days), no touchscreen bs (which ruin the desktop UX).
It's a plain windows 95 era UI that's efficient, fast and to the point. No more no less.
Rewriting it using Qt or GTK, there's no way it will ever look the same again and I am fairly confident that the performance and resources requirements will be worse to achieve the same tasks...
